WE ARE CINEMÂCHÉ
An Adelaide based creative video production company that is passionate about harnessing the connective power of motion pictures to tell stories and shape experiences.
We pride ourselves on designing and crafting world class video content that elevates our clients’ companies, brands, and reputations to new heights.
A filmmaker in the very widest sense, Daniel has over twenty years of experience creating work for top brands including Estee Lauder, Red Bull and Emirates and was an integral part of the ‘Already Home’ campaign that won the Master Chair at the 2011 AADC awards. Daniel cut his teeth writing, producing, directing, editing and colouring innovative music videos, winning a slew of awards and acclaim along the way including two Vimeo staff picks. As a post-production creative gun for hire, he honed his craft cutting and colouring award-winning commercials, shorts, television shows and feature films before hatching CINEMÂCHÉ with Marcus McKenzie.
In his spare time Daniel reads and makes comics and tends to his Adelaide Hills garden with his wife and daughter.
Daniel graduated from Flinders University with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Screen and Media and an Honours Degree in Creative Arts (First Class).
A storyteller at heart, Marcus co-created and starred in the first original ABC iView dramatic series, ‘Wastelander Panda: Exile.’ Never turning down a challenge, he immediately followed it up by writing, producing and directing his debut feature film, the outback thriller ‘Crew Cut’, for which Marcus was awarded Best Emerging Filmmaker at the South Australian Screen Awards.
In 2016 Marcus won Madman Production Company’s Million Dollar Babies feature film pitching initiative. He was also the only South Australian filmmaker to be selected to take part in Screen Australia’s Hot Shots Plus Initiative, writing, producing and directing the short film ‘The Projectionist’, which premiered at Academy Award qualifying festival Flickerfest in 2019.
His wife, who works in the art department on films and television series, likes to let him know that she is more successful than he is and that she has won more awards.
Marcus graduated from Flinders University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Creative Arts majoring in Screen and Media.
Whether you seek real people to tell your brand’s story or prefer a fictional narrative, as an award winning full-service filmmaking team, we can devise a clear and effective strategic roadmap that takes your tailor-made project from the initial concept through to final delivery.
Whether it's a television commercial, a social media campaign or a one-off launch video, we apply our methodology to every project that comes our way.
At CINEMÂCHÉ, our view is that a brand should have a clear voice, personality, look and feel. That’s why we love brave clients. Without brave clients we believe that you don’t get great work and that’s what we strive to create.
That is why we proudly partner with leading ad agencies, brands and non-profit organisations big and small to create immersive video content that is powered by our bespoke blend of layered and lavish palettes, contrasting textures and embellished colours.
At CINEMÂCHÉ we make branded content that people want to see.
